Although QoWL is a newly formed university spin out company, we have as Chartered Psychologists been providing expert survey services to industry for ten years via the Applied Psychology Unit at the University of Portsmouth, England, UK.
Most of our survey work is related to assessing and analysing quality of working life, but we can provide expert advice and support on any survey project. We follow strict guidelines set by the British Psychological Society and Market Research Society in order to protect confidentiality and maintain anonymity.
The core service we provide is our Quality of Working Life Survey.
‘Quality of Working Life’ is defined as a measure of how good your work is for you. It is the widest context in which an employee would evaluate their work environment – much more than just job satisfaction or work happiness.
We provide a free survey service and a full survey service.
Because we also conduct academic research, we offer a free service. In exchange for completing our quality of working life survey and providing us with valuable data, we’ll set up the survey for you and provide you with a summary report free of charge. The summary report provides a good overview of the results for your organisation. There are certain qualifications e.g. size. By all means take advantage of our free service and upgrade to a full survey service later if you want to.
Our full quality of working life survey is comprehensive and tailored to your requirements. In addition to including our Work-Related Quality of Life scale (WRQoL), our Work & Well-being Outcome scale, and HSE’s Stress Indicator scale, we’ll help you design organisation-specific questions.
